Trailer Repair and Skiff Repair
Today we repaired a trailer and an aluminum skiff. The trailer frame was cracked in half from rust. The rust had rotted all the way through the frame so the metal was unweldable. We bolted aluminum angle to the side and welded a flat top plate across the top. The skiff had a leak that we easily placed a 1/8 plate over and welded solid. Aluminum Jon Boat Repair
Today we repaired the bottom of an aluminum jon boat. The boat had suffered from electrolysis on the center beam. We cut out the old beam and added an aluminum angle.

Outboard Engine Skeg Repair
Today we repaired an aluminum skeg on an outboard engine. The customer had broken the skeg by tilting the engine down too low on concrete. Since skegs are made with cast aluminum, it was best to weld a new 1/4″ plate. Click here to see all of our other aluminum repairs.
